What we believe
Communication should not depend on a perfect network.
Most telecom assumes reliable coverage and continuous connectivity. One Island is building a different layer: artificial intelligence telecom that turns what people mean into messages that can travel over constrained links, including mesh radio.
Our focus is practical communication for disconnected environments. We develop the protocols and software together, from the way a message is represented to the tools people use in the field.
Work with us
Help shape what comes next.
We welcome conversations with users, developers, researchers, and organizations exploring resilient communication.
